This section is where users can define special events, e.g. dates on which cruise ships are in port. Special event dates have a category (e.g. NZ public holiday) which has a colour associated with it, and also a description (e.g. Otago Anniversary Day).
By default, all organisations get the New Zealand public holidays.
Special event dates appear with a light pink background on calendar pickers.
The category and description are displayed in the day header on the calendar.
